Can a 8 x 11.5 card stock paper fit into a 8x8 scrapbook?

I found some really cute pastel card stock at walmart for like $5 and it had 300 pages. I don't feel like paying 15.00 for 20 pages its not worth the money. Now i am not going all out with the scrapbooking thing because i just don't have the time. I'm just putting in the things from pre and after birth. so they stay nice and out of the way.
