How Much Does it cost to learn to Snowboard?

I want to learn to snowboard so I want to know how much exactly this whole endeavor is going to cost me. So how much is it for all the gear I need (boots, board, helmet, goggles etc...) as well as Lessons. How many lessons will I need to get the hang of it and not embarr myself on the slopes. And also I'm probably not going to get top of the line gear just decent stuff to learn on
