I get one HP-6213 printer(not new) but the driver CD i am having is HP-6300 series. when i try to install thi?

-s it is not detecting the printer when i connect to the USB after it prompted for connecting the printer. inadition to that printer is showing that 'carriage is jam, open the door and remove the carriage'. what does it mean. I don't have any idea , pls help me..Is HP-6300 is matching for my printer????
