Is fewer marriages the best solution to the high divorce rate?

I think smarter people is the solution to the high divorce rate. Too many people marry for the wrong reasons and then turn around and take their families for granted. Who wants to put up with that? We need smarter people who take marriage seriously and smarter people who know how to handle problems efficiently as they arise.
