Why do boys laugh at other boys for wearing briefs?

right i think we all have had the day when we got changed for pe and everyones wearing boxers and ur wering briefs everones had it i got it my little brother had it and my cousin and thet strat mocking you and calling u gay. my cousin was got so embred that he never wore briefs again. but i kept wearing briefs becuse i just dont find boxers comterble its annoying that ur are always dangling around. but on pe days i wear boxers and i feel so uncomterble for the whole day. becuse i dont want to get mocked agin. so why do ppl make fun of other boys that wear breifs
