For best performance in winter conditions, should i get the 2011 BMW 328i xDrive or the 2011 Audi A4 quattro?

I just moved out to the East Coast from California and I am going to be getting a new car. If I want a car that does well in snowy/icy conditions, which vehicle has the better all wheel drive system?
