Heroes question? seasons 1,2 and 3 ?

why cant they make a new character that has an original power? Like the power to change and shape his bones however he wants. Wouldn't that be awesome? To have a bone sword coming out of your arm or to change your face structure? or to make yourself taller, shorter. Stronger? Or to even have your bones pop out of you like razor sharp bullets? Or even to create a huge field of razor sharp bones. Im Getting tired of wess, nathan, sylar and peter having the same flying ability. Or for ando ( i think) and elle to have the same lightning ability. They keep on recycling old abilities. Its annoying, everyone is supposed to have new abilites related to each individual.
