Oropharynx looks messed up?

The way back of my throat looks really messed up. It is all uneven and bumpy everywhere. I don't know what it is. I was sick with something a couples of weeks ago that I thought was a cold. It started out as a sore throat, then I got the sinus-y pains, then my nose kept on running ever since, and I also keep coughing up phlegm. This is a typical cold for me. But the back wall of the pharynx looks bizarre. My roommate was sick with something also, but he just had a sore throat and then coughed forever and ever, I originally thought I got it from him. I don't know. I really can't do anything because it's finals week now and all I can do is study.
